Here's why you should step up to Metal Ductwork! Metal fittings are designed for woodworking applications; provide superior airflow and allow convenient connections. Metal ductwork is safer - it is self-grounding. It is smoother inside than corrugated metal or flexible hose and provides less air resistance. It is far more efficient at the wye, elbow, and branch fittings than available plastic equivalents. Metal pipe is less expensive than PVC in diameters over 4" and has a much larger variety of adapters available.
